PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE
Mr. Rodriguez is a project engineer for Palos Verdes Engineering Corporation. He joined the firm in February of 1995, and is currently in charge of managing projects from our Rolling Hills office.
Mr. Rodriguez has been involved with the design and calculation of foundation underpinnings, deepened footings and caisson/grade beam systems. His projects range from field investigations of distressed buildings for the identification of earthquake damage to performing structural observation for seismic retrofitting of residential, commercial and industrial buildings. His specialty is providing fast and accurate engineering for repairs.
Mr. Rodriguez has assisted architects by providing structural design drawings and calculations for new buildings, remodels, additions and as-built plans. Many of his projects include preparation of drainage systems and plans for hillside structures and soil retaining systems.
Mr. Rodriguez is Palos Verdes Engineering Corporation's in-house expert on steel-framed residential, commercial and industrial buildings. He has provided architects with structural drawings and calculations for the construction industry's new light-gauge steel residential framing.
Mr. Rodriguez is also Palos Verdes Engineering Corporation's representative and advisor for the American Concrete Institute, and has assisted with concrete investigations in litigation cases.
